RECIPE:
● preheat the oven to 180°
● in a bowl combine:
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup seeds {i used pepitas, sunflower seeds}
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts {i used walnuts, almonds , cashews}
- 1 + 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cloves
● stir in 1 cup of apple sauce {i made my own} until everything is well combined.
● lay out some of the mixture evenly on a baking paper lines baking tray and pop into the oven for 10 minutes.
● remove from the oven, and mess the granola up to ensure even baking then sprinkle coconut shavings {optional} and pop back in the oven for 5 minutes.
● my mixture did about three trays worth, so repeat until all mixture is baked, setting each one aside until cooled.
● once cooled add in any thing you like, i added dried cranberries & goji berries.
