Sharon's New Healthy Banana Sweet Potato Health Muffin
•1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
•1 cup Rolled Oats
•1/2 cup honey
•1  teaspoon Baking Powder
•1  teaspoon Baking Soda
•1/2 teaspoon Salt
•2 Eggs
•1/4 cup Oil
•1/4 cup Almond Milk
•2 mashed Bananas
•1 cup Mashed Yam
•1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
•1/4 cup Sliced Almonds
•1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
1.Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper or silicone liners, or lightly spray with cooking spray.
2.In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, honey, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3.In another bowl whisk together the eggs, oil, milk, mashed bananas and mashed yam.
4.Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined. Fold in the nuts and seeds
5.Divide the batter between the muffin cups - they will be quite full. Bake for 16-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre of a muffin comes out clean.

​Sharon's Healthy Fibre Low Fat Muffins
1 Cup All Bran - pure fibre cereal
1 Cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt (0% fat)
1 mashed banana
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 Cup whole wheat flour
3/4 Cup Large Flake Oats or Natural Granola
Add ons:  3/4 Cup of assorted seeds, nuts, craisins of your choice

Method:
Mix the yogurt with the all bran and let sit for 45 minutes to soak up and soften the bran. Than add the remaining ingredients. Mix together.
Put into muffin tins - makes 12 muffins
Bake 350 for 20 min

Hi, my name is Sharon Delbridge. 
I have been teaching fitness for over 15 years.  I am teaching fun specialized fitness classes. I teach ZUMBA (latin/salsa dance fitness), Barre Fitness (basic ballet moves infused with pilates and yoga), Spinning, and most importantly YOGA!!  Through all my fitness and excitable energy that I have, Yoga has been my passion for over 10 years now.  Zumba and Yoga have brought some of the most amazing people and life experiences to me. 

 When I discovered Yoga, I found my calmness in my busy crazy life.  I lived a very fast paced life, juggling work, 3 children, family and social obligations.  Yoga helped bring discipline into my every day life and restored the balance I needed.  I started teaching Yoga before Zumba.  Yoga became a part of me and it made me become in tune with the sensations and realities of my beautiful life.

 My Zumba classes are a sweaty dance party!! You will love the music and you will love the moves.  The thing that excites me the most about Zumba are the people that come and dance with me. They get a beautiful glow, as they move through the beats, dance and laugh out loud with me!! They all have the best time because Zumba makes you have a permanent smile on your face. Yes, you will burn a ton of calories and have a great time doing it. Its totally exercise in disguise.  I have seen Zumba change so many people’s lives. People get a confidence that wasn’t there before and a much healthier body. I love that moment during class, when I look at everyone’s faces and see the happiness and joy they are feeling. There’s a healthy glow and sometimes even a sexy glow. Zumba produces a change in you, a change for the better and a change that takes you on a better path in life.  When you come to my class you will work out your body, but you will also be working out your heart and soul.  I absolutely love teaching. When I teach a class, whether its Zumba or Yoga, I teach it with love and passion in my heart.

 I’ve been so fortunate to be able to teach Yoga and Zumba at many resorts in Mexico. The Zumba/Yoga Health and Wellness retreat that I have coordinated in the past 10 years have been an unbelievable experience for me. I have met the most incredible women and discovered so much about everyone. We have become a zumba family!

Sharon's Bio
 I have been teaching fitness and yoga for the past 15  years. My specialties are Zumba, Yoga, Spinning, and Barre Fitness. I teach people of all ages and at several different facilities.  I have always had immense amounts of energy and love to channel and share that feeling with my participants in my classes. I believe that fitness is a true healer for our mind and body and a lifestyle. I have had the pleasure of meeting incredible people throughout all the various gyms that I teach at. It's very important for me to give back to the community so I have led and participated in many fitness fundraisers in our community which raised funds for Breast Cancer and Heart and Stroke Foundation. Teaching fitness has given me the most rewarding feeling. As an instructor and I have had many success stories through my participants. Many have lost major amounts of weight, sculpted and toned their bodies and developed a new confidence about themselves. As well many of my participants have found that fitness has helped them with hardships in their lives. If its sickness of a loved one, fighting a disease, suffering a loss or depression, my classes have helped them continue to feel stronger emotionally and physically and have helped through the healing process. I hope to continue inspiring others to feel great about themselves by keeping a fit and healthy lifestyle. Motivating others is what drives me as a person. I hope to always be able to do that for others as I continue with what life has ahead of me.
